The short version. No account, no sign-up. The trained model runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device for that part. The "Reasoning AI" part sends your text to Cloudflare for one answer and Devseis does not store it. Analytics (Microsoft Clarity) are off unless you say yes. Please don't type personal or confidential information into the checker.
Devseis Consultancy SARL-S (RCS Luxembourg B241407), Ettelbruck, Luxembourg, is the controller for this page. Contact: umer.wasim@devseis.com.
| What | What data, and where it goes | Why (legal basis) |
|---|---|---|
| Showing you the page | Hugging Face hosts the page. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the files and keep the service secure. | Legitimate interest in running the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Trained model | The model files and the code that runs them (transformers.js and ONNX Runtime) are served from this site. Your text is processed only on your device and is not sent anywhere. | Legitimate interest in providing the check you ask for (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Reasoning AI | When you press Check, your text is sent to a Devseis Cloudflare Worker, which passes it to Cloudflare Workers AI for one answer. Devseis's code does not log or store your text. Cloudflare processes the request as the service provider. | Legitimate interest in providing the check you ask for (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Saved in your browser | Your theme, course lesson and progress, final-assessment score, checklist ticks, and your analytics choice are kept in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are never sent to Devseis. You can clear them in your browser settings. | Needed for features you choose to use, so no consent is required (ePrivacy "strictly necessary" exemption) |
| "Book a call" and the summary | The booking button opens a draft email in your own email app. Nothing is sent unless you press send, and you can untick including your description and results. "Save or print this summary" is produced in your browser. | Only if you choose to email us: to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b), steps before a contract) |
| Course certificate | The name you type is used only to draw the certificate image in your browser. It is not stored or sent anywhere. The LinkedIn buttons open LinkedIn, where LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies. | No data comes to Devseis |
| Analytics (only if you agree) | Microsoft Clarity: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, session recordings, device and browser type, approximate location. See the details below. | Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the ePrivacy rules on cookies) |
The font and all code on this page are hosted on this site: before you choose on analytics, your browser contacts only Hugging Face (which hosts and delivers the page and model files) — no Google Fonts, no third-party CDN.
We use Clarity to understand which parts of the page people find useful, so we can improve it. It is only loaded after you click "Accept analytics". Before that, nothing is sent to Microsoft.
_clck (remembers a random Clarity visitor ID; up to 1 year) and _clsk (groups page views into one visit; 1 day).Your current choice: —
Withdrawing consent stops Clarity from loading and deletes its cookies from this browser. It doesn't affect anything collected before you withdrew.
Hugging Face, Cloudflare and Microsoft may process data outside the EU, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in their own privacy policies.
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Devseis itself holds no data that identifies you from this page, but email umer.wasim@devseis.com and we will help, including with requests about analytics data.
You also have the right to complain to the Luxembourg data protection authority, the CNPD (Commission nationale pour la protection des données), or to the authority in your own EU country.
Caveat is an experimental demonstration by Devseis. It shows how automated EU AI Act risk classification works and where it fails. It is not a compliance tool and not legal advice.
